We are excited to announce that today we have released our first content addition update!
October 10, 2024 marks the date of the very first feature addition update of AI People. Without further delay, let’s dive right into it.
Voice input feature
Now can now interact with our agents with your own voice through a microphone, eliminating the need to type everything. This takes interactions in AI People to the next level.
When you hover your mouse over the character, a tooltip highlighting the left mouse button with the note: “Press and hold for voice input” Once you press and hold the left mouse button, a microphone icon will appear over the character you selected to speak to.
Hold the button and speak into the microphone.
Whatever you will say, the character will understand and will react to. For example:
Currently, voice input is only supported in English. Other languages won’t be understood yet, but we plan to train the agents to recognize more languages in the future.
Note: You can write scenario characteristics, character bios, and even while playing the scenario itself in almost any language. If you set it up in editing that a character speaks a certain language, the agents will follow that. You can even try specific dialects to see how creative our agents can be. However, they will generate the text and attempt to speak it in English.
Bug fixes
We’ve fixed following bugs and issues:
Music keeps looping in the levels instead of playing once
Scenarios "from workshop" can be deleted in game
Fixed a bug where sleeping agents couldn't get up properly
Fixed a bug where copies of the Underground scenario wouldn't have a correct thumbnail (affects new copies only)
